報告人簡介:

  高道舟,上海师范大学数学系教授。2012年5月得到迈阿密大学博士学位。2012/06-2015/11,在加州大学旧金山分校(UCSF)从事博士后研究,2015年入选上海市特聘教授(东方学者)。主要研究领域为数学熏染病学和种群生态学,在SIAP J Appl Math, Am J Trop Med Hyg, J Math Biol, Bull Math Biol, J Math Anal Appl, Sci Rep等学术期刊颁发学术论文二十余篇,并担当SCI期刊Math Biosci Eng编委和20多份国际期刊审稿人。

報告摘要:

  Human movement facilitates the introduction, establishment and spread of common or novel infectious diseases. Epidemic patch models have gained considerable attention over the past few decades. They can help us to understand the influence of pouplation dispersal on disease dynamics, efficacy of control strategies and disease burden. In this talk, I will present some existing results and recent advances on SIS patch models with standard incidence. Particularly, a conjecture on the strict monotonicity of the basic reproduction number with respect to the diffusion coefficient of infected subpopulation proposed by Allen et al. (SIAM J Appl Math, 67: 1283-1309, 2007) is completely solved and generalized.
